Why update the 888starz APK
Most updates are not new features but fixes and speed-ups: live opens faster, streams and the cashier run more stably, discovered vulnerabilities are closed. How to see which version is installed
In the app: menu → Settings or About, version number at the bottom of the screen. In Android: Settings → Apps → 888starz — the version is shown there. If push notifications are on, word of a new version arrives in advance.
How to update the APK without losing data
The procedure is the same as the first install, only shorter:

- Open the file and confirm the installation. Android shows that an already installed app is being updated; permission to install from external sources was granted the first time.

Why the old version stops working
